Rick Lane
President
Mr. Lane was named president of Heroix in 2002, having
already served as COO for four years. He joined Heroix
initially to lead the operations and finance areas.
Subsequently, as V.P. of Marketing, Mr. Lane played
a pivotal role in establishing Heroix as a leading vendor
in the monitoring and management software market. As
COO, he has advanced the company's corporate growth
strategies and drove the evolution of the Heroix product
set from single-platform, departmental offerings to
integrated, multi-platform, enterprise-wide solutions.
Prior to joining Heroix, Mr. Lane was V.P. of Operations
for Apparel Retail Corporation. There he spearheaded
the computerization and automation of the company's
warehouse, distribution, and retail operations, and
grew the organization from a $10 million to a $250 million
enterprise. He then went on to establish and operate
his own realty trust, which managed the construction
and sales of residential and commercial properties,
until Heroix recruited him to join its management team.
Mr. Lane is a cum laude graduate of Tulane University.
