Network Monitoring & Reporting
The Longitude® Cisco Device and DHCP solutions provide
out-of-the-box monitoring for your network, and the SNMP Studio
extends network performance monitoring coverage to any SNMP
device. Longitude proactively monitors key performance metrics
to ensure that your environment is running optimally and alerts
you when there is a problem. Longitude also provides pre-configured,
on-demand reports and graphs of key performance metrics to
help you proactively take action and ensure maximum availability.
Cisco Devices & DHCP
The Longitude Cisco Devices solution provides the ability
to:
- Report when attempts are made to connect to the Cisco Device
via SNMP with an incorrect Community Name

Longitude supports DHCP Server for Windows 2000/2003 Server.
The Longitude DHCP solution provides the ability to:
- Report when either the SNMP or DHCP service is not running
- Report when the number of free addresses in a scope is
low
- Report when the total number of free addresses across
scopes is low
Custom SNMP Monitoring
Need to add a new monitoring solution to the already wide
coverage? With the Longitude component called SNMP Studio,
it’s simple to add new monitoring capabilities for SNMP-enabled
software or hardware without writing scripts. Simply import
the appropriate SNMP MIB (Management Information Base) file
and select the metrics of interest. Longitude then uses the
monitoring data across its extensive capabilities: performance
reporting, SLA monitoring, alerts, dashboards, event correlation,
and more.
