Heroix to Demonstrate Agentless System & Application Monitoring at Tech Ed 2005

Heroix personnel at booth #822 will demonstrate the company’s recently released Heroix Longitude®, a new agentless monitoring and reporting product that is easy to deploy and use, yet provides comprehensive monitoring and detailed reporting capabilities. Heroix now provides IT organizations a choice between agentless monitoring via Longitude and traditional agent based monitoring via Heroix eQ Management Suite.

Longitude is designed to help organizations optimize the availability and performance of applications and systems without having to install software on the monitored computers. It collects over 250 critical operational metrics for Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2000/2003, Microsoft Windows® XP, RED HAT® Linux, SuSE® Linux, Sun Solaris™, Hewlett-Packard HP-UX®, IBM AIX®, Microsoft IIS, Apache™ Web Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle®, Microsoft Exchange Server 2000/2003, IBM WebSphere®, BEA WebLogic®, and JBoss®. Over 125 prepackaged reports presented via an intuitive dashboard allow users to quickly and easily assess the “big picture” of historical performance problems, then drill down to view problem details. Longitude requires little to no configuration and can be up and running in the production environment within 15 minutes.
