Longitude Software Brings Robust Agentless Monitoring to System Management Marketplace

Newton, MA - June 22, 2006 – Heroix, a leading provider of application performance monitoring software, today announced that it has been nominated for Technology Developer Company of the Year as part of the 2006 Mass Technology Leadership Awards. The company’s flagship agentless monitoring software, Longitude, enables IT organizations to improve performance and monitor Service Level Agreements, without requiring software to be installed on each server. Longitude was first released in 2005 and has had two major releases since then with the latest coming in May of 2006.

The 2006 Mass Technology Leadership Awards continue a nine-year tradition, begun by the New England Business and Technology Association (NEBATA), of honoring the region's technology and business leaders. The Mass Technology Leadership Council was formed by the combination of NEBATA and the Mass Software Council. Finalists for the award will be announced on June 28, and winners will be named on October 11, 2006.
