Heroix Nominated for Linux Journal Editors' Choice Awards

- August 8, 2006 – Heroix, a leading provider of application performance monitoring software, today announced that its Longitude agentless monitoring software has been nominated for the Linux Journal Editors' Choice Awards in the Best Management or Administration Software category. This year's award winners will be announced in the December 2006 edition of Linux Journal. The awards recognize the best products in 28 hardware and software categories that have been launched during the current year as determined by its editorial team.
Launched in April 2006, Longitude V3 features an event correlation facility that helps customers understand the
business impact of technology performance problems and reduce the time required to resolve them. Analyst Jasmine
Noel of Ptak, Noel & Associates cited Heroix's achievement in "adding sophisticated features without making the
solution more difficult to use".
Other features of V3 include:
